I have been flying here for over Eight years, and there is only one very
good place and even there is not the best wind conditions. But, It is very
beautiful and gives a awesome view of York and  Lancaster(Amish) county
and it is call Sam Lewis State Park. There is no official club, but if you
go on a nice day on Saturday or Sunday you will find about 10 die hard
flyers with every kite you can think of in there bags and they are all
very nice people.
When I am in town, I make it a point to fly there as much as possible.

Pete,

I'm East of Lancaster (about 45 mins.) in Downingtown, PA. There are a
few places around here that I've found are very nice to fly. Valley
Forge is about 30 mins further East, while there are some nice spots in
Downingtown.
