| What this does : |
PortMapper is a
lightweight Windows application that helps securely manage the ports on
your Home Networking Router. PortMapper will automatically detect ports
opened by applications running in your system , and map them to your
Router. Typically used for :
Online Multiplayer
gaming / Game Hosting
Accessing your PC
from internet - like VNC etc.

| Getting
Started: |
Start PortMapper.exe
in HomeNetMagic/PortMapper directory.
PortMapper runs in
your Windows taskbar and listens for applications like multiplayer
games that try to open ports to the Internet.
We help you in deciding which applications you wish to allow , using a
simple instant messaging style interface. |

| Supported Platforms:

- PortMapper
runs on all versions of Windows NT, 2000 , XP and ME editions
- We
support the following routers: Linksys.
NOTE : D-Link and Netgear support will be added soon
